This size is about length, not volume. If your hair is shorter but thick, our Regular towel will usually be the better fit.

Traditional terry towels and some microfibre fabrics can be rough, creating friction and absorbing water very aggressively. This can disrupt the outer surface of the hair when it’s wet and most vulnerable, contributing to frizz and dryness over time.
Good Wash Day towels are made from ultra-smooth organic jersey cotton, chosen to be gentler on wet hair. The fabric helps absorb excess surface water without over-drying, supporting hair health and manageability across all hair types.
Drying results can vary depending on hair type, products used, porosity and environment — but most customers notice a gentler drying experience and improved manageability with continued use.

I bought one to try it out, loved it, so bought another two - one for my granddaughter who has long hair and another one for myself, this time I chose a XL size.
I now keep the regular in my travel bag and use the XL size for my everyday use. I particularly like the fact that it dries quickly - I hang it up in the bathroom and it's dry the next morning, unlike when I used a towel, which would still be damp.

One Towel Many Heads

Larger Towel
Really like this larger size in my favourite colour Teal. I have long really thick wavy hair and this size wraps around securely and provides a better absorbent area. Good Wash Day products are personal care items and, for hygiene reasons, can't be returned unless faulty on arrival, in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Please inspect your order on receipt and contact us immediately if your item is defective, damaged or incorrect.
To be eligible for a return:
- Items must be unused and in their original condition
- Returned in original packaging
- Received by us within 30 days of Royal Mail confirming delivery
