Great Hair Towel

I received my hair towel promptly and posted well wrapped. Towel stays in place on my head, turban style. Dries my hair quickly so it’s damp enough to easily style with dryer and brush or to leave and dry naturally

Disappointed

Sorry to post this but I bought a towel having watched Dragons Den, evening though it was quite expensive. I have used similar products before, the best of which being bought from the White Company, and which towel is now down the back of my hot water tank - and I am sad to say this one is just not a patch on anything else I have used. It does not absorb enough water, though it gets soaked very quickly, so I then need to wrap a further towel around my hair to get it so it’s not dripping. Not what I expected from such a well supported product. Disappointing and therefore much too pricey.

Thanks for you review Sara. I'm sorry you're disappointed with your purchase. It's strange that the towel is getting soaking wet, but that your hair is remaining dripping wet. That's a lot of water! Factors that can affect any fabric's absorbency include: hair type, density, damage, and porosity, whether hair is dyed, water softness/hardness, and product choice. For example, some products such as leave-in conditioners and heat protectants coat the hair. These types of ingredients also cause product build up, and require a strong shampoo to remove them. Very expensive piece of cloth

Thanks for your review Sue. I'm not sure what you were expecting given that the full product details and price were clear when you placed your order. I appreciate that if you don't own a business you won't be aware of all the costs associated with running a business. And if you aren't used to buying UK manufactured, ethical products, the price might seem high. But it's dictated by the ethics of the business. The fabric is organic jersey cotton, which is better for people and planet. The packaging is sustainable, so ditto. I'm really proud that everyone in my supply chain works in safe conditions, and voluntarily, and earns a fair wage. This comes at a price!
