I am 75 and have naturally wavy hair that I straighten into a short bob. I washed my bright pink towel and was delighted that it did not leak any colour at all. I have used my towel several times over the last month and cannot believe how well it works. It is super absorbent as soon as it is wrapped on my wet hair and so I don’t need to rub my hair with the towel at all. When I remove the towel and comb my hair there are no knots as I haven’t needed to rub it. This makes the drying and straightening of my hair quicker and easier. I think the towel is excellent and will be giving them to my nieces as presents.
Hi Alison, thank you so much for your wonderful review (it's made my day!). We always recommend washing GWD towels before first use, especially the brighter colours, just to ensure any excess dye is removed. So glad you love yours and I hope your nieces enjoy their gifts too!

I am not a person who easily see cahnges in skin or hair, and I do not do that with these towels either, but I still love them and use them every time I wash my hair. Do they do "something" for my hair, not sure- do I still use them, you bet I do ;)
