Perfect!

As a curly haired lady, I absolutely could not live without my GWD towels and now have one in my bathroom, one in my swim bag and one in my suitcase. The headbands in the smaller size are also a game changer and it’s great to be both supporting this ethical company and using up deadstock fabric. A win/win!

A little confidence boost :)

I have psoriasis on my scalp, and a friend gifted me one of your headbands. I absolutely love it. It’s genuinely made me feel so much more confident and has really helped with feeling self-conscious about my scalp. I love the green colour, how thick and comfortable it is, and the quality is brilliant too. Such a lovely product that’s made a real difference for me!

Perfect Headband

I originally bought a larger size headband, which was fine, but I think I probably have a larger head! The very kind folks at good wash day sent the regular size to try and it was perfect! The headband is lovely and soft and so useful when cleansing face, applying make-up, or just when you want to hold your hair back. I’m really pleased with it and love the funky pattern. Customer service is absolutely fantastic. I thoroughly recommend the headband and also the amazing towels, I wouldn’t be without them.

A large headband that was very large

I absolutely love your hair towels - as well as having some for myself, I frequently give them as gifts. This review is about the hand and. Firstly, it was relatively expensive. I know I bought a large as this was all that was available. However, I gave it a try and it slipped right over my forehead- then tried it with hair clips - again it slipped. Now it sits in my drawer! I am sorry to give it a poor review - i shouldn’t have bought a large. P.

Thank you so much for your feedback Rhona and your kind words about the hair towels. The large headbands are generally for people with a lot of hair and/or who are prone to headaches (like me!). We now offer a regular size too. Regarding the price, I appreciate that they're an investment, and whilst they're made from off-cuts to reduce waste, UK manufacturing and more intricate stitching versus the towels dicates what we need to charge to run a sustainable business. They're also built to last, but I understand that's no help to you if it's in a drawer because it's too big! I'm away from the business at the moment, but will ask my colleague Marisa to get in touch via email because customer experience is hugely important to us and we can help.

Organic jersey cotton headband in Regular size

After initially buying the large sized headbands and finding that, while they were comfortable, they were a little too large for my head so I then tried out the regular sized headbands (courtesy of the GWD team providing me with two regular headbands to try) . I have to say that for me they were a better and more secure fit but also not so tight around my head to cause any headache or discomfort, even after wearing them for a whole day. The fabric was also incredibly soft to the touch and on my hair. I’m certainly planning on getting more colours in these headbands and I’m overall very happy with them- thank you Good Wash Day!

Fabulous products and service

The towels are so good for your hair. Quick drying without rubbing your hair just wrap! Recently ordered 2 hair bands for my granddaughters. Carla emailed to say some thoughts the one size a bit large. I fed back and they have sent me 2 small ones in place. Thank you so much.

I’m glad I bought this

I am using my new hair band all the time and it is very comfortable to wear. I chose the large size and it’s just right for me.

Headbands

I bought two of the headbands and while they are a little roomy, I would say overall that they feel comfortable around my head and the material is soft against my hair. A perfect accessory to wear to keep hair out of my face but still have my hair down! I love the colours too, very vibrant!

Best hair towel!

Soft and gentle on hair. I have two and just bought another for a gift. Wouldn’t use anything else. Easy to pack for holidays too! Thoroughly recommend

I’m so glad I purchased these; got the larger size. Very soft and durable, much easier on my fine hair than a towel. The material also holds in place really well.

Absolutely brilliant

Love these hair wraps, just bought 2 more.. My post-menopause hair was dreadful - dry, weak and more loss than normal. Using the wraps has made a real and immediate difference, my hair looks and feels better and the loss is reduced. Feeling good about my hair has a positive impact on me all round.

nice cotton wrap

i was looking for an organic cotton wrap for my long hair after washing, and was happy to find this one! it dries the hair faster than what i was used to with microfiber. love using it so far.

This towel is the best

This towel is the best. I’ve never been able to comb through my wet hair with ease. Now 20mins with a Good Wash Day towel on wet hair & I can comb through with ease. Also my fine hair is almost dry!
